Terms and Conditions
Whilst we do our utmost to ensure our drivers are punctual, you will understand that we cannot accept responsibility for delay caused by circumstances out of our control
Every effort will be made by Davids of London Ltd to ensure that our vehicle(s) arrive on time
The driver will drive at safe and sensible speeds in accordance with road conditions, traffic and the legal speed limits
Clients are responsible for any damage they cause to the interior or exterior of a vehicle on hire to them and will be billed accordingly for any repair or valeting required to reinstate a vehicle to working order
We may provide sub-contracted vehicles occasionally
By supplying your email address, you permit Davids of London Ltd to contact you via email, in return we promise never to supply your email to any third party
If there are any changes or variations including extra mileage to the journeys other than what was agreed at the time of booking, the client will be charged extras in accordance with the pricing structure given in advance of the booking.
We reserve the right to supply a different vehicle in case of the vehicle being damaged, or the vehicle being off road. The replacement car will be of an equivalent standard or better.
We also reserve the right to change the chauffeur at any time if necessary and will inform you of any change.
Our Chauffeur(s) will travel by the most appropriate route on the day, unless instructed otherwise by the Customer at the time of booking
Davids of London vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third-party claims. However, customers properties are carried at their own risk and Davids of London shall not be held responsible/liable for any loss/damage to such property
Davids of London will keep a lost property book at their office, and will endeavour to return any lost goods left in our vehicle(s) to the customer, all lost property will be kept for a minimum of 12 months.
Davids of London and its chauffeurs have the right to refuse to carry any passenger who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and whose behaviour poses a threat to either the Chauffeur, the vehicle or any other passenger(s)
Davids of London maintains a strict non-smoking policy in all its vehicles
Payment Terms
All prices are inclusive of VAT charged at 20%
The charge on your card statement will be shown as Davids of London Ltd
If credit facilities have been agreed on an account basis payment is due within 30 days of the date of invoice. Davids of London reserves the right to add interest at a rate of 3% after the date the invoice payment should have been made.
If no credit facilities have been agreed payment must taken by credit card before the booking commences.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
If a booking is cancelled by the customer 8 hours prior to the start of the period of hire there will be no charge. Up to 4 hours will carry a charge of 50% of the total hire price and any cancellation up to 2 hours will be charged at 100% of the total hire price.
If the customer does not appear within 20 minutes of the time and place designated as the pick-up point, all monies paid will be non-refundable
