THE COTSWOLDS

We drive through the dramatic landscape of the Cotswolds, visiting the picturesque villages of Stow On The Wold, Bourton on the water, Chipping Norton and others. Why not stop at one the typical English tea rooms, or lunch at one of the fine local restaurants.

In the afternoon, we arrive at the “University City” of Oxford, home to famous alumni from around the world such as, Professor Stephen Hawking, Oscar Wilde and Margaret Thatcher, We can visit Christchurch College, the inspiration for many of the Harry Potter movies, and walk and drive past many of more of Oxfords famous colleges. Other famous landmarks to be admired in the City are The Bodleian Library, Sheldonian Theatre, and The Bridge of Sighs!

LONDON

Discover and experience London’s most Iconic sights with our complete panoramic Tour. Our standard itinerary will take you to Buckingham Palace to experience the colourful and traditional changing of the guard*.

The next stop is Parliament Square to see the impressive Big Ben, Houses of Parliament and the historical Westminster Abbey, where all English Kings and Queens are crowned. A scenic drive takes us to some of the famous landmarks such as Kensington Palace, Royal Albert Hall, Piccadilly Circus and St Paul’s amongst others.

After viewing “The City” London’s financial district, we drive over the world famous Tower Bridge, with the view of the Tower of London as well as London Bridge, and many more sights.

WINDSOR CASTLE

Making our journey through picturesque Runnymede, we drive past the location where King John signed the Magna Carta in 1215, marking the start of Human Rights in the civilised world.
We arrive in Windsor in time to see the famous changing of the guard, which is usually accompanied by a band*.
Once inside, Windsor Castle has plenty to offer, from the magnificent “State Rooms” still used in present day to receive foreign dignitaries, St George’s chapel, used for Royal Wedding’s. Not forgetting Queen Mary’s Doll’s houses, (the largest and most exquisite doll’s house collections in the world, dating back to the 1920”s). On our return to London, we can pass by Eton, to see the renowned Eton College, where past Prime minsters and members of the royal family have studied over the centuries.

STONEHENGE & BATH

We embark on a magical journey to the UNESCO world heritage site “Stonehenge”, over 4000 years old it still remains one of the biggest mysteries of all time,  you can experience getting up close to this extraordinary landmark.

Arriving at the beautiful Roman city of Bath, we take a panoramic drive through the city, to see the magnificent Royal Crescent, one of the best examples of Bath’s unique and stunning Georgian architecture, as well as The Circus, Pulteney Bridge and Bath Abbey.

Once in the City Centre, a visit to the Roman Baths beckons, over 2,000 years old, they are one of the best examples of preserved Roman Life in Great Britain.

STRATFORD UPON AVON & WARWICK CASTLE

On this enchanting tour, our first stop is Stratford upon Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Here we will visit the places that influenced the famous playwright’s life and work, including his house of birth, his wife Anne Hathaway’s cottage, and Holy Trinity Church, where the greatest playwright has been laid to rest. Over 1000 years old, Warwick Castle is a fine example of a medieval castle; visit its magnificent staterooms, and Great Hall, explore the centuries old Towers and Ramparts and experience how the castle defended itself from attack.

Other interesting and exiting attractions at the castle include: the world’s largest working catapult, the castle dungeon, and the centuries old wonderful gardens.

BLENHEIM PALACE, DOWNTON ABBEY VILLAGE & THE COTSWOLDS

We start our tour with visiting one of the finest examples of English Baroque architecture, Blenheim Palace. The historic birth place of Sir Winston Churchill and home to his family, you can walk where he once walked and experience the stunning formal gardens and view his favourite places on the grounds. Step back in time and explore the magnificent Grade 1 and  UNESCO world heritage site, with entry to all areas( depending on time of year ) inside and out, including- state rooms, the Churchill exhibition and old staff quarters and a secret garden. The small picturesque village of Bampton is where many of the Downton Abbey village scenes were filmed featuring “ Crawley house, the post office and the church. HAMPTON COURT PALACE

Hampton Court palace was built for Cardinal Wolsey in the early 16th century, but soon after was taken over by King Henry VIII who used it as his home to show its magnificence. It has been home to the Kings and Queens of Britain ever since, with its continuous expansion throughout the ages it is of both Tudor and Baroque architecture style. This paradise of 60 acres is also a home to a world famous maze, stunning gardens, a priceless art collection and a 16th century tennis court. As one of the most popular attractions in Britain, it gives a unique insight into how the Tudors such as King Henry VIII would have lived, with rooms such as The great hall, Tudor kitchens and Baroque palace to be enjoyed.
